The Insights feature provides:

  • Automated Analysis - AI-generated summaries and observations
  • Trend Detection - Identifies patterns in your data
  • Recommendations - Actionable suggestions
  • Anomaly Alerts - Flags unusual patterns

Sentiment Insights​

AI analysis of sentiment patterns:

  • Why sentiment changed
  • Key drivers of positive/negative shifts
  • Comparison to historical norms
  • Predicted near-term trends

Activity Insights​

Understanding activity patterns:

  • Topics driving discussion
  • Emerging themes
  • Platform-specific patterns
  • Author clustering

Announcement Insights​

Analysis of announcement reception:

Person Insights​

Navigate to Insights for the full view:

  • All generated insights
  • Filter by type
  • Historical insights

Contextual Insights​

Insights appear throughout the app:

  • Activity detail panels

AI Summary Generation​

Announcement Summaries​

When viewing an announcement with linked activities:

  1. Open the announcement
  2. View the AI Summary section
  3. See analysis of market reaction

The summary includes:

  • Overall reception assessment
  • Key themes from discussions
  • Sentiment breakdown
  • Media coverage summary

Activity Theme Analysis​

For groups of activities:

  1. Select multiple activities or apply filters
  2. Click Generate Insights
  3. View thematic analysis

Insight Cards​

Each insight includes:

Summary​

Brief description of the finding

Evidence​

Data supporting the insight:

  • Specific activities or announcements
  • Charts and metrics
  • Quotes and examples

Recommendations​

Suggested actions:

  • Things to investigate
  • Opportunities to pursue
  • Risks to address

Confidence Level​

How certain the AI is:

  • High - Strong evidence
  • Medium - Moderate evidence
  • Low - Tentative observation

Customizing Insights​

Focus Areas​

Tell the AI what matters to you:

  1. Go to Settings → Insights
  2. Set priority topics
  3. Adjust sensitivity levels

Alert Thresholds​

Configure when to be notified:

  • Major insights only
  • All insights
  • Specific categories

How It Works​

Quarterback's AI analyzes:

  1. Text Content - Natural language processing of activities
  2. Sentiment Data - Patterns in sentiment scores
  3. Market Data - Price movements and correlations
  4. Historical Context - Comparison to past patterns

The AI synthesizes these inputs to generate insights that would take hours to discover manually.
